Today I will tell you how to create with your own hands patchwork cloths from scraps. Each seamstress accumulates a lot of scraps, which it is very pitiful to throw out, but it is very difficult to find them in sewing, because these cuttings are very small.
In this master class I will tell you how to find application for such small pieces of cloth.
For work we need:
1. Scraps of tissue, flaps.
2. A piece of any cloth, the basis for the flaps.
3. Adhesive spiderweb.
4. Fatine or organza.
5. Threads of different colors.
6. Paper for baking.
First you need to decide on the size, where exactly then you will use your fabric.
I will sew a cosmetic bag out of such a fabric, so for the base I took a cloth measuring 20 x 14 cm and immediately made a pattern. You can first make a fabric, and then cut out a pattern.
I impose on a basis an adhesive cobweb.
Spread on our glutinous cobwebs our remains of cloth, flaps. In a chaotic order.
The flaps are laid out, I added pieces of thread to the mulina for decorating. And now we put the tulle over our construction.
We turn on the iron and, covering the fabric with baking paper, we iron everything well. Our entire design has been glued to the cobweb and, accordingly, to the base.
Next, we need to decorate our creation with decorative lines, I applied the usual machine lines, but you can use whatever you have in your typewriter.
I add a different number of colors in the stitches sewing.
This is how the wrong side looks.
Our patchwork is ready.
As I said before, I need this fabric to make a cosmetic bag, so I have it turned out to be a small size, but you can make a fabric with your own hands of any size.
Someone will say that now a large selection of fabrics and not necessarily spend time on making your own. But I believe that any thing sewn by you from such a patchwork fabric will be in a single copy, for sure - repetition is not possible here.
